New Offerings with Annika Knepper
Annika Knepper is a Nervous System Healing & Healthy Habits coach. She helps people live the fulfilling life they know is possible in the areas of health, love and business, by helping them overcome trauma and unconscious conditioning that slide-tackles their progress. Aside from her offerings of breathwork journeys and meditative movement at Sacred Rain, she also offers 1:1 coaching programs and group embodiment circles.
Feral Grace
Primal flow and meditative movement
Tuesdays 6:30pm - 7-30pm in the upstairs common room
$20 or free for active members, 12-person limit
Most workouts are two-dimensional and focus superficially on building muscle and looking good instead of feeling amazing when you move. In this class, we combine primal movement, self-massage, aerobics, continuum, breathwork and stretching for a workout your fascia, organs, lymph and nervous system -- as well as your muscles -- will love.
Catharsis
Two-hour breathwork journey
Second Sunday of the month 8:30am - 10:30am in upstairs common room
Next class: Nov. 9
$100
Sign-up and additional waiver required, 12-person limit.
Suppressing emotion is a coping mechanism that deteriorates our mental health and invites disease into the body. In this two-hour, music-guided breathwork journey, you'll experience pranayama, holotropic, and Wim Hof breathing techniques to safely release stuck trauma so your nervous system can be revitalized, and you can feel like yourself again, at home in your body.
Ongoing special bodywork services
Shamanic Reiki and Mayan Healing session
|
This is a special integrated healing session available at limited times by appointment. Each session begins with a general conversation about what the client would like to focus on in their life, and what has brought them to seek out this type of journey. The client lies clothed on the table and the session begins with Reiki, which involves light touch with placements of hands over different areas of the body. It may also involve tools such as particular crystals, healing plants and herbs, incense, items from nature, and sometimes instruments such as a rattle or drum. The shamanic journey weaves into this practice and the client is taken through a guided journey in tandem with the practitioner. Some clients prefer to stay on the table and be nurtured and supported, while others may choose to take a more active role in their healing journey, both of which are welcome and able to be accommodated within the session. It may or may not include, and is not limited to: dialogue with parts of themselves or ancestors, visualization, work with the imagination, various forms of meditation, and breathwork.
